Sabanci Congress and Exhibition Center

Sabanci Congress and Exhibition Center, commissioned on 01 October 1997 inside the Antalya Cultural Center, has a total closed area of 6,000 square meters on 2 floors, each floor with 3,000 square-meter area. The Center, which is also known as the Glass Pyramid, has been built by Sabanci Foundation and its usage rights have been transferred to the Municipality of Antalya.

The pyramid-shaped building, surrounded by round-shaped decorative ponds has access from 4 sides and is located inside Hasan Subasi Cultural Park. The Exhibition Center, comprised of 2 floors, has a space frame roof over the main hall on the ground floor. The height of the space frame roof from the ground is 22.76 meters and is covered with 5,710 square meters of colored titanium blue insulating glass.

With its air conditioning system and technical ware encompassing all units inside, Sabanci Congress and Exhibition Center has five halls ideal for various national and international congresses, seminars, exhibitions and conferences.

Toros Hall: The largest of the halls, has a 2,400-seat capacity with telescopic platforms when used for conferences, and an exhibition area of 2,050 square meters. The hall is equipped with multipurpose audio, lighting, and visual systems and a mobile simultaneous interpretation cabin. On the plasma screens in the hall, various graphical views and animations can be shown. Additionally, Widi Wall visual system, first time in Turkey, is available.

Meltem Hall: It has a total area of 417 square meters and 440-seat capacity and a mobile simultaneous interpretation cabin available for conferences and meetings. State-of-the-art technology is available for meeting and conference organizations.

Duden Hall: It has a total area of 307 square meters and 340-seat capacity and four fixed simultaneous interpretation cabins available for conferences and meetings.

At the Exhibition Center, there are 2 halls, each with 87 square-meter area and 50-seat capacity. These halls may be used as a meeting room, art gallery, press room, or as a cafeteria, and during the activities audio and visual transfer is possible between the halls.

Inside the glass pyramid elevators, telephones, and rest rooms are available for the disabled. The building also includes a foyer, VIP room, doctor's office, food stand, check room, service kitchen and technical units.

On the open-air 20.000 square-meter exhibition area, which is known as the King's Road, there are ten half-open exhibition centers, each, 265 square meters. Additionally, the parking lot with 500-car capacity, which belongs to Sabanci Congress and Exhibition Center, can also be used as an open exhibition area.
