Sabancı Religious Works Library

Sabancı Religious Books Collection Library, commissioned in 1988, has a total area of 150 square meters.

The annex of Sultan Hamidi Evvel Mosque, constructed in 1778 in Beylerbeyi and which has been used as a muvakkithane (Islamic observatory) for a long time, has been repaired by Sabanci Foundation to enable the building to be used as "Religious Books Collection Library". Its usage rights have been transferred to the Directorate of Religious Affairs, Uskudar Office of the Mufti.
