ANNOUNCEMENT FOR THE SCHOLARSHIPS DISTRIBUTED IN

2010-2011 ACADEMIC YEAR

Having distributed scholarships to more than 35.000 students so far, Sabanci Foundation is proud of granting scholarships each year to students over 1300.

Scholarships given by Sabanci Foundation have no repayment or service obligation or compulsory service expectation and are provided to successful but financially lacking university students.

In addition, Sabanci Foundation scholarships will be given to 15 handicapped students selected by the Student Selection and Placement Center (OSYM) on the basis of their handicaps and success levels and 15 students who rank the top in their respective provinces with priority in development according to the placement points.

REQUIREMENTS FOR APPLICATION AND EVALUATION

Sabanci Foundation scholarships are given away to those students enrolled with following universities:

Minimum scores required in the Undergraduate Placement Exam are announced at the beginning of each year at the universities listed above.

The evaluation by the Scholarship Committee of the University will focus on the candidates' success as well as the level of financial need.

APPLICATION DEADLINE AND SCHOLARSHIP AMOUNT

Scholarship application documents required by the student's university will be valid for Sabanci Foundation scholarships. Scholarship application form and other required documents for Sabanci Foundation scholarships should be delivered to your University's Student Affairs/ Scholarship Office at the latest by October 15th, 2010.

A monthly payment of 285 TL will be given for nine months between October and June, and scholarships will be continued during the regular academic program period.
