Sabanci Foundation's "Turkey's Changemakers" TV program shares inspiring stories of individuals who make a difference in social and economic development. The 29th episode of Sabanci Foundation’s “Turkey’s Changemakers” tells the story of Tolga Oztorun. Tolga Oztorun is a manager in a tourism company and working to raise awareness of animal rights. He produced a movie to show the difficulties that animals living on the streets have faced with. The movie starring Sevinc Erbulak and Emre Karayel with several Turkish movie stars including Ayla Algan, Derya Alabora, and Lale Mansur. The movie is also the first movie on street animals in Turkey and it gets many positive reactions from the society. |

Tolga Oztorun tries to pay attention to street animals through the movie and several interviews that he has made. He has an online newspaper column about animal rights, and produces a weekly radio show about street animals to which celebrities participate. He has been working voluntarily as a reporter in an animal shelter run by Fatih Municipality in Istanbul for 6 years.
