The first child of Mr. Haci Omer Sabanci and his wife, Mr. Ihsan Sabanci was born in the village of Akcakaya in Kayseri in 1930.

It is very unfortunate that Mr. Ihsan Sabanci passed away at a very young age. He tried his hand in the business of selling drapery, haberdashery and dry goods. When the family was in cotton trade, he handled cotton purchasing business.

Married  Mrs. Yuksel Tarcan in 1953, Mr. Ihsan Sabanci was the father of three children: Guler, Nur and Yakup.

Mr. Ihsan Sabanci passed away on December 24^th, 1979.
