Sevda Sabanci Kindergarten, commissioned in 1988, has been established on a total area of 4,100 square meters and has a closed area of 2,500 square meters.

Sevda Sabanci Kindergarten, has been built by Sabanci Foundation on the campus of Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine and its usage rights have been transferred to the University Administration.

Sevda Sabanci Kindergarten, with its capacity of 200 children, prepares children between the ages of 0-6 for primary education by teaching them to think, understand, communicate, share, cooperate and be creative.

There are 14 classrooms, each with a capacity of 15-20 students, a multipurpose hall with a capacity of 150 people and a health care room in the kindergarten. Full time education is provided to the children of the faculty staff and of people who live in the vicinity.

There are bunk beds in the play rooms for children between the ages of 0-1 to sleep in. There are 2 separate dorms for children between the ages of 1-2 to sleep in the afternoon and 4 separate dorms, each with a capacity of 40, for children between the ages of 2-6 to sleep.
