Background

Eskisehir Equality Platform (EEP) is the most important output of the project funded by 2013 Sabanci Foundation Grant Program, namely “Gender Responsive Budgeting Training”. This Platform is made up of institutions that signed the “Eskisehir Gender Equality Protocol (EGEP)”. Besides, as part of UNJP, a pilot GRB training was held in Eskisehir on 4-5-6 November 2013 with the participation of the Municipal staff and CSOs. A road map was presented to Eskisehir Metropolitan Municipality (EMM) at the end of these trainings. It is of utmost importance that EEP is supported in its endeavours to ensure EGEP and the Road Map of Eskisehir are actually implemented.
