35 male and 11 female academic staff of Nevsehir University and 1600 students in Nevsehir University
This project aims to identify and train university instructors on gender equality issues; raise awareness of other key community stakeholders with regards to gender issues and establish a "Women’s Training, Research and Consultancy Unit" at the University of Nevsehir. A 30-hour training program will be conducted with the attendance of 46 instructors (35 men and 11 women) who work for Nevsehir University, as well as 1600 students who study at the university. A panel will be held for decision makers, village headmen, county constabularies, police officers, shopkeepers, civil servants working for the governor’s office and the municipality, and religious officials. Gender equality will be a new theme added to NEVSEM’s (University of Nevsehir Continuing Education Center) agenda of work and a Women’s Training, Research and Consultancy Unit will be established.
