25th International Ankara Music Festival

Sabanci Foundation contributes to the area of culture-art by supporting “Turkey Folk Dances Contest”, “Sabanci International Adana Theater Festival”, “Mehtap Ar Children’s Theater” and by providing “Art Awards”. Having added “Ankara International Music Festival” to this context in 2008, Sabanci Foundation continues to expand its support for art.

The Ankara International Music Festival, which has been associated with the capital city for the last 24 years, celebrated its 25th anniversary in 2008 with the support of the Sabancı Foundation as an honorary member. The 25th Ankara International Music Festival, held on April 4 and 26, 2008, brought together world famous artists from 18 different countries in 23 different events.

Hacettepe Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Erol Erdinç, performed the opening concert while the Bilkent Symphony Orchestra, conducted by Isin Metin, performed a special silver year closure concert for the 25th Ankara International Music Festival.
