TYPO Attends Training Camp between July 12 - August 6, 2014
The young musicians of the Orchestra attended a three-week training camp to last from July 12 to August 6 at Sabanci University, under the leadership of Cem Mansur and master instructors who tutor various groups of instruments.
A Musical Feast by Turkish National Youth Philharmonic Orchestra
Turkey Youth Philharmonic Orchestra, which gave a successful concert last year in Italy, following an invitation to the Taormina Festival, the first "Orchestra in Residence" has signed on as a proud success. The Orchestra performs Pucci’s world-renowned opera Tosca as well as Tchaikovsky’s Violin Concerto, Strauss’s Salome, and Beethoven’s Piano Concerto, enthralling audiences with a genuine musical feast at Teatro Antico di Taormina within the scope of Taormina Festival.
The Turkish National Youth Philharmonic Orchestra will stage its local concerts at Aspendos Antique Theater and Zorlu Performance Arts Center, and head back to Italy, the current President of the Council of the EU, in response to its invitation.The Orchestra will perform on the most prestigious concert venues of Bologna, Rovigo, Rome and Milan, and finalize its tour program with the Germany concerts. In addition to performances in Bad Wörishofen and Berlin, the Orchestra will participate in seminars regarding the immigrant communities of the city.
