Vice Chair and a Member of the Board of Trustees at the Sabancı Foundation
Prior to joining Akbank as the Deputy General Manager in 1990, Mr. Hayri Çulhacı worked in various positions in the Ministry of Finance. A graduate of Ankara University Faculty of Political Sciences, Mr. Hayri Çulhacı earned his MBA in Business Administration from Northeastern University in the USA.
On March 27, 2025, Mr. Çulhacı stepped into the role of Chair of the Board at Sabancı Holding, following the tenure of Güler Sabancı. With his appointment, he has become the first career executive to assume the position. He is currently Vice Chair and a Member of the Board of Trustees at the Sabancı Foundation.
