For over 20 years, Sabancı Foundation has worked in partnership with civil society through its grant programs. During this time, we have supported nearly 300 projects across all 81 provinces of Türkiye. Throughout this journey, we have responded to diverse needs by providing essential early support to civil society through our Open Call Grant Program, while also fostering long-term, in-depth collaborations in thematic areas through our Invited Grant Program.
The experience we have gained in the field has led us to continuously review and refine our grant programs, placing lasting impact and a partnership-centered approach at the core of our work.
In our 50th year, we introduced the Impact Partners Grant under our renewed Open Call Grant Program. Through this model, we aim to deepen the partnership we have built with civil society—moving beyond a traditional funder–grantee relationship toward a trust-based approach grounded in shared responsibility, adaptability, and the co-creation of impact.
In line with this approach, through calls launched in our thematic focus areas, we support initiatives that address the challenges faced by groups most affected by inequalities and that collaboratively generate impact in the field.

With the aim of strengthening equal opportunity in education, we support projects carried out by civil society organizations in the field of quality and inclusive education, and the application and evaluation process for this support is ongoing.
Under Sabancı Foundation’s Open Call Grant Program, we have renewed the Impact Partners Grant with a trust-based approach. Through this model, we address not only project activities but also the institutional capacity, collaborations, and learning processes that make impact possible. We value developing impact together by trusting the field-based knowledge and experience of civil society, and we view the grant relationship as a long-term, reciprocal and sincere partnership.
Within the scope of the program, we support impact-driven projects that take a holistic approach to the school ecosystem and aim to prevent learning loss for all children while strengthening quality and inclusive learning experiences.
