Sabancı Foundation scholarships are primarily granted to students newly admitted to university; successful students who are in financial need and who have been newly placed in state universities with the base scores determined by our Foundation may apply.

The "University Admission Scholarship" is the most comprehensive scholarship type open to application among the scholarship types and is granted each year to undergraduate students who demonstrate outstanding achievement in the Higher Education Institutions Exam (YKS).

According to YKS results, the "Scholarships for Provinces with Priority in Development" are granted to one student from each of the 15 designated provinces who achieves the highest placement score ranking in their province; the "Disabled Students Scholarship" is granted to five students from each disability group — visually-impaired, hearing-impaired, or orthopedically-impaired — who achieve the highest placement score rankings. "Achievement Scholarships" provided within the scope of Conditional Donation Scholarships and "Death Scholarships" granted to the children of Sabancı Group employees who pass away while employed by the company are also awarded for the duration of their primary and secondary education.

Scholarships are non-refundable, require no repayment or service obligation, and payments are made for 10 months between October and June.

Students who enrol in certain universities based on their scores in specific categories in the 2025 Higher Education Institutions Exam (YKS) are eligible to apply for the Sabancı Foundation Scholarship.
