BACKGROUND
In schools where individuals with intellectual disabilities are educated or in inclusive education, life skills and privacy trainings are not available or programs prepared for students with typical development are adapted. This situation may cause individuals with intellectual disabilities to be insufficiently integrated into social life and become isolated. In addition, with the end of the students' education life, there may be difficulties in adapting to social life and maintaining their lives independently. For this reason, there is a need for structured, practical and behavioral group guidance programs on privacy and independent living skills that can be implemented in schools for individuals with intellectual disabilities.
PROJECT GOALS

- Modules will be determined by categorizing the basic life skills identified.

- Modules will be implemented with 60 students with intellectual disabilities between October 2023 - January 2024 and February 2024 - May 2024 for 6 class hours per week.
