A total of 2200 people from 3 pilot boroughs
The main concept behind this unique project is to use drama as a means to express important messages and to raise awareness about the roles of women and men. This project aims to empower women and increase their participation in social life through seminars and workshops, to inform them about accessing social services and to raise awareness about gender inequality, with the support of a lawyer and a social services expert. Within the scope of the project a total of 2095 people from 3 pilot boroughs who reside in central villages and districts will view the play “Voice Over”, (which examines gender roles and social status of women). Following the play they will participate in an interactive training session moderated by a social service expert, focusing on roles in society and gender equality. The ultimate goal is to combine drama and theatre with training to promote the importance of gender equality in society.
