Çengelköy Police Social Facilities - İstanbul

Çengelköy Police Facilities, commissioned in 2006, has been founded on a total of 1,110 square meter area and has a closed area of 480 square meters.
This building, which is one of the first structures to be built on the Anatolian Side of the Bosphorus during the period of Sultan Abdulmecit, has been used as Cengelkoy Police Station before. After being damaged during the Marmara earthquake in 1999, the building was left empty for a while. The building was rebuilt by Sabanci Foundation and initially commissioned under the name Cengelkoy Sabanci Police Facilities. Since 2017, it is named as Cengelkoy Police Facilities and provides service under the body of Uskudar District Police Department.

Constituting of a basement, ground floor and a first floor, Cengelkoy Police Facilities is one of the most equipped Police Centers in Turkey with its fine selection of materials. Travertine has been used in the front and back yard arrangements. The pink structure, which reminds on the outside a waterside mansion in the Turkish House style, captures the beauties of the Bosphorus.

In the Center, there are judicial and administrative offices, guard unit, jail, document room, archive, kitchen and a guest house with 2 suites.
