Sabancı Cultural Complex
Sabancı Cultural Complex, commissioned on 3 December 1988, is one of the largest cultural complexes ever put into service by Sabancı Foundation. It has been built by Sabancı Foundation and its usage rights have been transferred to Ministry of Culture and Tourism. Provincial Public Library Directorate, Culture Center and Fine Arts Gallery give services under the body of the Cultural Complex.
Sabanci Cultural Complex, has been established on a total area of 10,000 square meters and has a closed area of 2,000 square meters.
The hall and the large stage inside Sabanci Cultural Complex, with a capacity of 606 people, is suitable for performances and educational organizations such as opera and ballet performances, concerts, plays, and conferences as well as evocation and liberation day celebrations.
Inside the complex, there is a library with 100-people capacity, workshops, an internet room, administrative rooms and 5 different backstages for the use of artists, as well as a gift shop.
An area of 75 square meters in the entrance foyer of the Cultural Complex is being used as an exhibition hall where any kind of equipment is present for the display of pictures, photos, graphics, ceramics, sculptures and handicrafts.
Additionally, preparation picture courses are given in the Fikret Mualla Picture Workshop which has an area of 120 square meters.
