Sabancı Teachers Center - Aydın
The building, which was previously used as a branch office of Akbank, has been renovated and turned into a teacher center' lodging by Sabanci Foundation after the branch office was closed.
The usage rights of Sabanci Teachers Center, commissioned on 20 January 1996, have been assigned to Ministry of National Education for a period of 49 years.
The teacher center, comprised of 3 floors, has been established on a closed area of 608 square meters and has a hall for social activities, a reading room, cafeteria, kitchen, administrative office and a lodging section with 10 rooms and 19 beds.
Special care is given to the Sabanci Teachers Center since it is the only place that provides lodging services in the city.
Sabanci Teachers Center has been established to enable the teachers to make use of their free time, to socialize with one another and create solidarity among themselves, to provide for their social and intellectual development needs, to satisfy educational needs that they come across during their service and to develop themselves socially and culturally.
