STUDENT DORMITORIES

Sabancı Student Dormitory - TRNC

Sabanci Student Dormitory, which is located on the campus of Eastern Mediterranean University, has been built by Sabanci Foundation in 1990 and its usage rights have been transferred to the University Administration. The Dormitory has a closed area of 3.500 square meters and accommodates 204 students.

Sabanci Student Dormitory has double, triple and quadruple rooms with desks, a wardrobe, telephone, mini fridge, and a closet.

The Dormitory has a central heating system, the common area is cleaned on a daily basis and each room gets cleaned by the staff twice per week. Bed sheets, blankets, bed sets to be used by the students are provided by the Dormitory administration. Hot water is available in the Dormitory during certain hours each day and a generator is utilized during power outages.

On the second floor of the Dormitory, there is a kitchen and a reading room open for students. There are air conditioned study rooms where the students can comfortably study and do technical drawings. There is also a computer laboratory on the ground floor with internet connection.

At the "Roof", located on the 4th floor of the Dormitory, there are two television sets with Turk-Sat and Satellite broadcasting, both Turkish and European television channels.
