Metin Sabancı Center - İstanbul

Metin Sabanci Center, which started its activities in 1996, has been established on a total of 35.569 square meters and has a closed area of 18.580 square meters with a new school building in 2010.

The facility has been built by Sabanci Foundation on a land assigned by the Municipality of Kadikoy and its usage rights have been transferred to Turkish Spastic Children Foundation. The center also serves as a Residential Care Center reporting to the Ministry of Family and Social Policies.
Cerebral Palsy is a physical inability that emerges during infancy or the initial stages of childhood and affects body and muscle movements permanently. Turkish Spastic Children Foundation which was established with the aim of providing the lifelong rehabilitation and education that people with Cerebral Palsy need and integrating them to the society carries out its activities in Metin Sabanci Center.

Metin Sabanci Center includes Special Education and Rehabilitation Center, Metin Sabanci Schools, Early Intervention Unit, Speech Therapy Unit, Hydrotherapy Pool, Sports Hall, Information Center and conference and seminar halls where congress and meetings are organized.
The center hosts various events in addition to disabled individuals and their families.
