Change of Position at Sabanci Foundation

Sabanci Foundation General Manager Husnu Pacacioglu is leaving his position to continue as a Member in Charge at the Board of Trustees of the Sabanci Foundation.

The current Assistant General Manager Zerrin Koyunsagan has been appointed as General Manager of the Sabanci Foundation to be effective from July 1^st, 2011.

The Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Sabanci Foundation Guler Sabanci said in her remarks, “Since Sabanci Foundation has moved its headquarters to Istanbul in 2006, Mr. Husnu Pacacioglu has contributed hugely to the process of restructuring of our Foundation, building its new strategy, and transitioning in line with international standards while helping build lasting values at the same time. I firmly believe that Ms. Zerrin Koyunsagan who is taking on the post will sustain this process bringing further improvements”.

Upon graduation from the Department of Mathematics at the Middle East Technical University, Zerrin Koyunsagan served as Director of Student Affairs at Middle East Technical University during 1987-1997. She joined Sabanci University in 1998 during the establishment phase of the University and served as the Director of Student Resources until 2005. In 2006, Ms. Koyunsagan joined Sabanci Foundation as the Director and was appointed as the Assistant General Manager in 2008.  

Ms. Koyunsagan who has tremendous contributions to a successful establishment and restructuring process at the Sabanci Foundation is an Honorary Member of Sabanci University.
