Haci Omer Sabanci Cultural Center

Haci Omer Sabanci Cultural Center, commissioned in 1976, has been established on a total area of 15.000 square meters and has a closed area of 5.000 square meters.

The usage rights of Haci Omer Sabanci Cultural Center, which was constructed jointly by Haci Omer Sabanci Holding and Turkish Education Foundation, have been transferred to the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.

Inside Haci Omer Sabanci Cultural Center, there is a library with a capacity of 200 people and a theater with a capacity of 368 people, and a Fine Arts Gallery Hall.

The Center was expanded in 1982 with the addition of the fine arts gallery (foyer, drawing and training workshop, museum holding antiques, bookstore, and gift shop) and its theater was also developed and furnished with new and modern equipment.

The exhibition hall and the library which provides audio books for the persons with visual disabilities and which is equipped with devices that enable partially sighted persons to read booksare open throughout the year. In addition to them the theater which is available for the performances of company theater groups of Cukurova District Theater, meets the alternative need that the population of the region has for social facilities.
